Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist/Programmer with strong 5-axis machining expertise to join our Redmond facility.

In this role, you will operate advanced CNC equipment and develop CAM programs to manufacture complex, high-precision components. The position combines hands‑on machining with programming responsibilities and requires experience with 5‑axis machining, CAM programming, blueprint interpretation, and precision manufacturing processes. You'll play an important role in producing high‑quality components while supporting continuous improvement and manufacturing excellence.

Responsibilities
  • Operate and program 5‑axis CNC machines to create precision, prototype, and one‑off components
  • Develop and optimize CAM programs in Siemens NX for complex, multi‑axis machining
  • Translate 3D models and technical drawings into innovative machining strategies
  • Choose the right tools and cutting parameters to balance quality, speed, and efficiency
  • Perform in‑process inspections and adjust setups for flawless results
  • Troubleshoot machining challenges and implement quick, effective solutions
  • Collaborate with engineering and prototyping teams on new product development
  • Tackle daily hands‑on challenges in a fast‑paced, innovation‑driven environment
Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years of hands‑on experience in 5‑axis CNC machining
  • Proficiency in CAM programming, specifically with Siemens NX
  • Strong blueprint reading skills, including GD&T
  • Experience in aerospace or satellite component manufacturing is a plus!
