Quality Inspector / CMM Programmer – Precision CNC Machining
Location: Mississauga, ON & Vaughan, ON
Job Type: Full-Time | Permanent
Pay: $27.00–$30.00/hour
Eligibility: Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident
Shifts:
Mississauga
  • Afternoon: Monday–Thursday, 3:00 PM–12:40 AM | Fridays Off
  • Continental Weekend: Friday–Sunday, 11:00 AM–11:00 PM
  • $1.50/hour shift premium
  • 36 hours worked, paid for 40

Job Overview
We are hiring an experienced Quality Inspector / CMM Programmer for a precision CNC machining environment. The ideal candidate has strong experience with CMM Inspection, GD&T, dimensional inspection, and precision CNC machining.
Our facilities manufacture tight-tolerance components for the Aerospace, Defence, Medical Device, and Nuclear industries.

Responsibilities
  • Perform first-off, in-process, final, and incoming inspections
  • Program, operate, edit, and validate CMM inspection programs
  • Perform dimensional inspection of precision CNC machined components
  • Use CMMs, vision systems, micrometers, calipers, height gauges, bore gauges, and indicators
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints
  • Apply GD&T to verify dimensional accuracy
  • Inspect tight-tolerance components and surface finishes
  • Identify and document non-conforming products
  • Maintain inspection reports and quality records
  • Support root-cause investigations and corrective actions
  • Work with Production, Engineering, and Quality teams
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of Quality Inspector experience in precision CNC machining
  • 3+ years of CMM Programmer / CMM operation experience
  • Strong CMM Inspection and dimensional inspection experience
  • Strong knowledge of GD&T
  • Experience with Precision CNC Machining and tight-tolerance components
  • Ability to read engineering drawings and blueprints
  • Strong knowledge of precision measuring equipment
CMM Software Experience
Experience with any of the following is an asset:
  • PC-DMIS
  • Calypso
  • MCOSMOS
  • MODUS
  • Similar CMM inspection software
Experience in Aerospace, Defence, Medical Device, Nuclear, AS9100, or ISO 9001 environments is an asset.
