Job Description

Job Title: Lift Truck Operator

Job Description: We are currently seeking a skilled LTO with experience specifically with clamp forklifts to join our team. As an LTO, you will be responsible for operating a forklift to safely and efficiently move materials and products within our warehouse or facility. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of forklift operations, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Location: Bridgeview, IL

Schedule: 7AM โ€“ 7PM

Pay rate: $19

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Use forklift to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse or production area.
  • Transport materials to designated storage areas or production lines following safety guidelines and operating procedures.
  • Perform daily pre-operational checks on the forklift and ensure it is in good working condition.
  • Stack and organize products and materials neatly to optimize storage space and maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Assist in loading and unloading trucks, containers, and pallets as needed.
  • Follow safety protocols and company policies to prevent accidents and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Complete paperwork and documentation related to forklift operation and inventory movement.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; certification or training as a Forklift Operator with specific experience.
  • Proven experience operating sit down and stand-up forklift in a warehouse or industrial setting.
