RADIOLOGY TECHNOLOGIST SUMMARY: NO CALL/NO WEEKENDS
The Radiology Technologists uses digital diagnostic imaging equipment to assist physicians in identifying illness and injury. A Radiology Tech will work closely with Physicians and Advanced Practice Providers to play a key role in diagnosing patients' medical conditions. The tech must be able to position patients and use equipment skillfully to capture useful, high-quality diagnostic images.
This is a Full Time Position, Monday - Friday, No Call, No Weekends. Salary: $27.00-$40.00 per hour
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
  • Requires strong working knowledge of diagnostic imaging equipment and procedures utilized in the diagnosis of disease with knowledge of regulations impacting the delivery of diagnostic services.
  • Consistently demonstrates professionalism by welcoming patient in friendly and courteous manner, demonstrates helpful and concerned behavior toward all patients, respects privacy of patient and fellow employees, and responds to needs and questions of all patients.
  • Knows current routines for each physician, demonstrates skillful positioning and proper technique to achieve best quality films.
  • Maintaining a clean exception list; researching and correcting any files tagged with errors or incomplete information while being entered into the system
  • Stays current on new positions to better demonstrate areas of concern; correctly marks films with lead markers indicating body position and reviews xrays for proper position, lead marking, name, date and quality before completing exam.
  • Maintains accurate record keeping.
    • Documents important information when receiving films from any outside facility.
    • Relay important information when expecting a return call, incoming film or other situation that needs to be expressed so other staff members are aware and able to assist.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
  • Maintains national license through ARRT.
  • Hold valid license in North Dakota.
  • Maintains continuing education requirements.
