To thrive as a Call Center Interviewer, you need strong verbal communication, active listening, and data entry skills, typically supported by a high school diploma or equivalent. Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) systems, call recording tools, and basic office software is often required. Outstanding interpersonal skills, patience, and problem-solving abilities help you effectively engage candidates and represent the company professionally. These skills are crucial for ensuring a positive interview experience and collecting accurate candidate information for successful hiring outcomes.

What should I expect during a call for interview in the recruitment process?

A call for interview typically serves as an initial screening to verify your interest, clarify details on your resume, and assess your communication skills. During this call, a recruiter or HR representative may ask about your availability, salary expectations, and motivation for applying. It's important to be prepared to discuss your relevant experience concisely and to ask questions about the next steps or the company's hiring timeline. This stage is often less formal than an in-person interview but plays a crucial role in determining if you advance further in the process.

What does 'call for interview' mean?

'Call for interview' refers to the process in which a candidate is contacted by a potential employer or organization to participate in an interview as part of the hiring process. This usually indicates that your application or resume has passed an initial screening and that the employer wants to learn more about your qualifications in person, over the phone, or via video call. Receiving a call for interview is a positive step towards securing a job, but it does not guarantee a job offer. It's important to prepare for the interview by researching the company and practicing your responses to common questions.

Job description

Dexis is a dynamic professional services firm dedicated to partnering with government and community leaders both in the U.S. and internationally to achieve critical social outcomes in a rapidly changing world.
At Dexis, you will experience a corporate culture of inclusiveness, respect, fairness, and trust. You will be given the means and mentorship needed to succeed, and your creativity will be rewarded.

About the Position

Dexis is seeking a highly experience Strategic Advisor to support our capture and business development efforts for upcoming opportunities with the U.S. Department of State's (DOS) Bureau of Political-Military Affairs (PM). The Advisor will play a critical role in refining our understanding of the client landscape, validating opportunity parameters, and facilitating strategic introductions to key stakeholders within the PM bureau and relevant incumbent organizations.

This is a high-impact, short-term engagement for an individual who understands the operational and technical dimensions of government security assistance programs, including Foreign Military Financing (FMF), International Military Education and Training (IMET), and Assessment, Monitoring, and Evaluation (AM&E) program elements.

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic insight into the organizational priorities, structure, and decision-making processes within the PM bureau.
  • Advise Dexis leadership on client engagement strategies specific to security assistance.
  • Identify and facilitate introductions with relevant stakeholders throughout the capture and bid process.
  • Validate programmatic direction, potential scope, and customer expectations for the anticipated opportunity.
  • Participate in periodic strategy sessions and serve as a trusted advisor throughout the pre-solicitation, capture, and bid phases.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years of experience working with or supporting DOS, with deep familiarity with the PM Bureau and the Office of Security Assistance (SA).
  • Demonstrated track record of engagement with senior-level PM/SA personnel and contract leadership.
  • Existing relationships within the PM bureau and/or with current contract implementers in security assistance or program support.
  • Exceptional understanding of federal international security, security assistance, and military operations contracting environments.
  • Prior experience advising capture or proposal teams targeting DOS contracts is strongly preferred.
  • Discretion, professionalism, and a strong sense of integrity in facilitating client-facing interactions.

Please note that the purpose of this Call for CVs is to build out a roster of professionals with relevant experience in the following areas for which Dexis frequently recruits. There is no closing date for applications nor a deadline by when candidates will be assessed; new applicants are reviewed by our team on a regular basis and added to prospective candidate pools. When new positions become available relevant to this sector, Dexis will post a complete job description with detailed information on the responsibilities and qualifications. Candidates with relevant experience who have submitted their CV under this announcement will be notified when new related jobs open up and are invited to apply.

Dexis is on a mission to help solve today's most pressing global political, social, and economic challenges and create a world where all people are safe and prosperous. As a Dexis employee, you will be challenged, empowered, and mentored. Our motto is "find a way or make a way" โ€” that's how Dexis goes "all in." How will you?

If you are passionate about this opportunity, apply now!

Only those applicants who meet the above criteria will be contacted for interview.
