Job description

Locum | Physician – OB/GYN

Hospital-based opportunity for a Board-Certified OB/GYN to provide call coverage in Langhorne, PA. This role includes a full spectrum of obstetric and gynecologic procedures with support from onsite lab and ultrasound.

Practice Highlights
  • Setting: Hospital Call – OB/GYN

  • Call Ratio: 1:6

  • Team: 4 physicians in practice

  • Other Coverage: No other OB/GYNs during locum dates

  • Onsite Support: Lab and ultrasound available

  • EMR: Epic

  • Credentialing Timeline: ASAP

Candidate Requirements
  • Board Certified – REQUIRED

  • Active Pennsylvania License – REQUIRED

  • BLS & ACLS – REQUIRED

  • $25k conversion rate cap – REQUIRED

Schedule & Coverage
  • Dates of Coverage: ASAP, as needed

  • Obstetrics Procedures:

    • Routine deliveries (vaginal, low forceps)

    • Decision-making for C-sections

    • High-risk pregnancies (toxemia, diabetes, cardiacs, chronic conditions)

    • Complicated deliveries (C-section, breech, multiple births, abruptions)

    • VBACs

    • Repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations

  • Gynecology Procedures:

    • Surgical gynecology – open

    • Laparoscopic diagnostic/minor (tubal ligation, LOAs, chromal tubation)

    • Operative/major procedures (ectopic pregnancy, ovary removal, cystectomy, extensive LOAs)

Compensation & Benefits
  • Hotel reimbursed

  • Mileage reimbursed at IRS Standard Rate

  • Malpractice included in rates
