Trainer – Customer Fulfillment Center

Shift - Flexible on a weekly basis based on need for associate training.

BRIEF POSITION SUMMARY:

The Trainer will work with the Operations team to provide on- the- job training to new hires and CFC associates in various operational areas of the warehouse. The trainer is responsible for identifying the training needs and ensure that appropriate programs and training methods are created and implemented to meet these needs

DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Works with supervisor to develop assessments to help identify associates training and refresher training needs.
  • Prepares and conducts quality training sessions on all critical areas deemed essential.
  • Facilitates learning sessions for Associates ensuring transference of skills and knowledge by utilizing learning methods to support the respective facility.
  • Schedule training sessions, compile training evaluations and assessment scores.
  • Analyzes productivity and quality reports to evaluate training effectiveness.
  • Maintains records with the management of MyLearning (LMS) in alignment with tracking all required and compliance-based training.
  • Communicates training-related information clearly and effectively through all communication channels
  • Participates in identifying enhancements and changes to the AS400.
  • Instills and fosters the MSC Culture throughout the company to ensure unity of purpose and fulfillment of MSC's Mission Statement.
  • Provides training to associates that may require additional and/or refresher training as identified by supervision and schedule training accordingly.
  • Partners and shares subject matter expertise with trainers that have joined the Training Team.
  • Provides one on one observations, training and feedback to associates as needed.
  • Answers questions and provides assistance in order to help associates in meeting their daily productivity, accuracy & safety goals.
  • Participates in special projects and performs additional duties as required.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:
  • High School Diploma or the equivalent experience is required.
  • Three years of customer service, inside sales, warehousing or training experience required.
  • Prior experience conducting group training is required.
SKILLS:
  • Computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office suite is required.
  • Strong verbal, written and presentation skills required.
  • Ability to show a strong culture fit.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills required.
  • In depth knowledge of order management systems and processes are required. Knowledge of AS400 system preferred.
  • Knowledge of MSC products.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally is required.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
  • The ability to travel up to 10% of the time is required.
  • Valid driver's license is required.

Compensation starting at $45,010 - $64,581 depending on candidate location and experience.

The salary range represented is based on similar roles in comparable industries, and the cost of labor in respective cities. Actual compensation is based on the candidate's relevant experience, education requirements and peer pay equity. The Company reserves the right to modify the range as market conditions change.
