Job description

Company Description

Artech provides technical expertise to fill gaps in clients' immediate skill-sets availability, deliver emerging technology skill-sets, refresh existing skill base, allow for flexibility in project planning and execution phases, and provide budgeting/financial flexibility by offering contingent labor as a variable cost.

Job Description
  • Performs operations necessary for calibration of equipment that may include testing, adjusting, and maintaining measuring and indicating instruments to conform to set standards. 
  • May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures. 
  • Performs highly supervised, routine calibrations of laboratory and/or production equipment, following SOP and in accordance with GMP. 
  • Provides assistance to more senior technicians on daily tasks. 
  • Accurately follows oral and written procedures in calibrating basic measurement equipment, and performing testing procedures. 
  • Recognizes deviations from the normal results. 
  • Requires some of the requisite skills to perform the required tasks of the position at this level. 
  • Receives detailed instructions on all work. Work is closely monitored and generally reviewed by supervisor. Some site to site travel may be required. 


Qualifications

Experience: 3 to 6 years. 

Skills: This person must have prior experience working in the Allston Landing Metrology Department. This is a must have skill. It is not negotiable. 

Education: A high school education is the minimum required.
