- Perform root cause analysis on recurring failures and document findings in structured failure reports.
- Initiate, track, and follow up on Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) and Corrective Action Reports (CARs).
- Maintain accurate records of repair activity, test results, and defect trends using internal systems.
- Collaborate with the Applications Engineering Manager and product engineering teams to communicate failure patterns and support product improvement initiatives.
- Maintain calibration records and ensure test equipment is properly maintained and documented.
- Support continuous improvement of QA processes, test procedures, and inspection criteria.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years of hands-on electronics repair or testing experience, including component-level diagnostics.

- Proficiency with electronic test equipment including multimeters, oscilloscopes, signal generators, and spectrum analyzers.
- Experience in audio, AV, or assistive listening technology systems (strongly preferred as required).
- Ability to perform structured root cause analysis and document findings in a clear, traceable manner.
- Strong attention to detail with a demonstrated quality-first mindset.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree in Electronics Technology or related field preferred.

- Background in a manufacturing, production, or repair depot environment.
Skills & Competencies
- Component-level electronics diagnostics and repair - able to identify failures beyond board-swap troubleshooting.
- Proficiency with standard AV and electronics test equipment.
- Ability to interpret schematics and technical product documentation.
- Organized and thorough in documentation of repair findings, failure trends, and corrective actions.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for cross-functional collaboration with engineering.
- Self-directed with the ability to manage multiple open repair and audit tasks simultaneously.
- Low tolerance for recurring defects and a drive to resolve root causes rather than symptoms.
Working Conditions
