Job description

ELECTRONICS TECHNICIAN:
The Electronics Technician will be a member of the Repair and Maintenance Department responsible for assisting and supporting the maintenance staff. Reporting to the Electronics Supervisor, the Electronics Technician will focus on performing troubleshooting and preventative maintenance on all Calfrac equipment.

SCHEDULE:
  • Fifteen (15) days on, Seven (6) days off
  • Stable hours and Overtime available
COMPENSATION:
  • Competitive Hourly Rate plus Overtime
  • $24.00 to $39.00 an hour, depending on experience

  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) provided
JOB DUTIES amp; RESPONSIBILITIES:
Repair and maintain all Calfrac oil field equipment on site, which includes:
  • Electrical and electronic systems
  • Recording and control software
  • Assist mechanical technicians in repairing electrical problems
  • Updates and modification requests
  • Perform preventive maintenance on a regular basis
  • Identify problem areas
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  • 1+ years oilfield electronics maintenance required
  • Field troubleshooting and multi-meter experience required
  • Technical training diploma or certificate in electronics preferred
  • Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
EXTENSIVE TRAINING:
  • Every new hire will attend company Orientation and Training School (OaTS)
  • Information is provided about Calfrac’s Health, Safety, and Environment policies and procedures
  • Opportunities for career advancement through CERT program
  • Obtain all required Safety Tickets
  • Hands on training
