What You’ll Do

As a Cake Decorator/Baker, you’ll play a vital role in creating beautiful and delicious cakes and cupcakes that meet our high standards. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Baking and decorating cakes and cupcakes for customer orders and our bakery’s rotating selection.
  • Preparing frosting and ensuring all cake orders are baked to perfection.
  • Decorating cakes in various sizes, with attention to detail and creativity.
  • Interacting with customers to answer questions and assist with cake and cupcake orders.
  • Managing your weekly workload efficiently and maintaining high standards for decoration.
  • Keeping your workspace clean and organized, and assisting with overall kitchen cleanliness.
  • Washing dishes and collaborating with other staff to maintain a tidy environment.
What We’re Looking For

We’re searching for someone who is not only skilled but also a great fit for our team. Here’s what we’re looking for:

  • Experience: At least 1 year of experience icing cakes and cupcakes is required. Please include photos of your work with your application.
  • Creativity: A flair for design and decoration, with an eye for detail.
  • Team Player: A positive, can-do attitude and strong communication skills with coworkers and customers.
  • Reliability: Someone who can work independently and manage their time effectively.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

Schedule and Pay
  • Job Type: Full-time
  • Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
  • Schedule: Day shifts, Monday to Friday, with hours from either 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM or 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM, Saturdays may be required
  • Work Location: In-person at our Knoxville, TN bakery.
