Job description

We are looking for a Cake Decorator/Assistant Manager to work 30+ hours a week. This person should be responsible, efficient, and able to reliably produce a high volume of quality cakes that meet Baskin Robbins brand standards WHILE ALSO managing the crew, overseeing and maintaining the store, serving customers as needed and ensuring the store runs efficiently. This person will be responsible for opening the store on time every weekday.

**YOU MUST TRAIN TO WORK THE COUNTER FIRST. YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR SERVING CUSTOMERS ICE CREAM AND BEVERAGES IN ADDITION TO DECORATING CAKES AND MANAGING THE STORE.**

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with administrative functions including but not limited to inventory
  • Communicate job expectations to team members
  • Hold team members accountable for their behavior and performance, addressing concerns promptly
  • Support the development and retention of team members
  • Create and maintain a "Guest First" culture in the restaurant; provide excellent customer service
  • Decorate ice cream cakes
  • Fulfill custom cake orders
  • Maintain fully stocked cake display
  • MAINTAIN BACK-UP CAKE INVENTORY
  • Complete weekly supply inventory/order
  • Use supplies conscientiously
  • Maintain Baskin Robbin's high standards for product freshness and sanitation
