Job description

We are seeking a versatile, high-energy leader to join our team at 3 Jays Enterprise LLC. This multi-faceted role combines the artistry of Cake Design with the fast-paced environment of a Barista and Ice Cream Shop Shift Lead. As a Veteran-Owned business serving military families and DoD personnel, we value professional excellence, creativity, and a "service-first" attitude.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Operations (Shift Lead)

  • Team Guidance: Supervise daily operations, ensuring the team provides friendly, engaging service and meets performance standards.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor and restock ice cream flavors, toppings, boba supplies, and coffee beans.
  • POS Oversight: Efficiently operate the Point of Sale (POS) system, handle cash reconciliation, and resolve any transaction discrepancies.
  • Safety & Sanitation: Maintain strict adherence to health and food safety guidelines, ensuring a spotless environment for our military community.

Artistry & Preparation (Cake Designer/Barista)

  • Cake Design: Utilize Cake Baking and decorating skills to create custom designs for special events and daily display.
  • Beverage Craft: Prepare specialty coffee drinks, boba teas, and shakes with precision and consistency.
  • Ice Cream Service: Provide a welcoming experience by offering samples, suggesting menu items, and fulfilling orders (scoops, sundaes, etc.).

Qualifications

  • Experience: Previous experience in food service or hospitality is required; leadership or shift lead experience is highly preferred.
  • Creative Skills: Proven ability in Cake Designing or professional food presentation.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with POS systems and basic math for cash handling.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for 5–8 hours and lift up to 50 lbs.
