Job Order Hourly Rate of Pay: $32.00 (Based on education and/or years of relevant work experience reflected on the application).
Effective July 1, 2025, candidates now meet the minimum qualifications of a position if they have the minimum education and experience listed from the class specification. The Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities listed within this vacancy announcement will be used only as management preferences and will be used to screen for the most qualified pool of applicants.
Job duties include, but may not be limited to:
This position will also assist procurement staff with processing necessary documentation for procurement needs, including equipment purchased through Dell and CDWG. Track the IT staff and contractors obtained through CAI to produce CDB dashboards. This position is needed to assist with reviewing travel authorizations, state vehicle maintenance and mileage logs, and reimbursement requests of staff for accuracy and completion when needed. Due to the volume of procurement and reimbursement requests and submissions, this position will track all submissions and follow up on payments in our NCFS to management. Processing purchase requisitions, including requests for equipment and services that support staff within the Communicable Disease Branch. Ensuring the delivery of goods and services by tracking orders, receiving items, and submitting proper documentation for vendor payments in accordance with DPH policy. Processing travel authorizations and reimbursement requests for staff in accordance with applicable policies and procedures when needed.
• Thorough knowledge of services, policies and procedures related to a program or area of specialization. Thorough knowledge of program information systems in order to communicate and process information.
• Ability to demonstrate and apply this knowledge in performance of administrative tasks. Ability to explain and interpret information to clients/customers and staff.
• Ability to compile, assimilate and organize both printed and electronic information. Ability to apply knowledge of data collection, storage, organization, manipulation and/or analysis of data.
• Ability to utilize office equipment and other relevant technology (software and systems) to meet organizational needs.
• Ability to identify and understand issues, problems, and opportunities; use effective approaches for choosing a course of action or developing appropriate solutions.
Minimum Education and Experience
