2 POSITIONS AVAILABLE FOR A FULL-TIME CAFETERIA POSITON:
JOB SUMMARY:
To prepare and distribute nutritional food items.
To provide complete and accurate documentation of meals served, while ensuring a clean, sanitary and safe working environment according to regulations.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Prepare serving lines with utensils and food (hot and cold).
Serve students, faculty and staff and replenish food on serving line.
Assist with food preparation, as instructed by supervisor.
Apply principles of safe and sanitary food handling, preparation and storge.
Conduct an inventory and verify adequate supply and proper display of food.
Maintain correct food temperatures.
Clean all items used, including trays, pots, pans, utensils, refrigerators and storeroom shelves.
Clean and sanitize work areas, counters, tables and equipment.
Clean spills as they occur in the kitchen/work areas.
Perform point of sale processes according to established procedures.
Ensure security of daily receipts.
Monitor delinquent accounts.
Complete daily production report and other reports as assigned.
Participate in all required training.
Perform in accordance with school policy, administrative regulations, state and federal laws.
Perform other duties as assigned.
WORK DAY AND HOURS:
7-hour day from 7:00 AM to 2:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
SALARY AND BENEFITS:
As provided for in the Highlands Educational Support Personnel Association Collective Bargaining Agreement.
