About Us:

Abbey’s Bakehouse is a warm and welcoming café and bakery known for handcrafted drinks, fresh-baked treats, and outstanding customer service. We're expanding at Square One Mall and are looking for a dedicated Shift Supervisor to help lead our front-of-house team.

Role Overview:

As Shift Supervisor, you’ll play a key role in supporting daily operations, leading by example, and ensuring a positive customer and team experience during your shifts. You’ll be responsible for maintaining high service standards while assisting with team training, scheduling, and day-to-day problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and motivate staff during shifts to deliver excellent service
  • Support onboarding and training of new team members
  • Open and/or close the store following proper procedures
  • Monitor product quality, cleanliness, and store presentation
  • Assist with inventory, supply management, and cash handling
  • Address customer concerns and resolve minor issues promptly

What We’re Looking For:

  • 1+ year of experience in a café, bakery, or food service environment
  • Leadership or supervisory experience preferred
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Positive, proactive attitude with a team-first mindset
  • Available for flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
