This position is responsible for monitoring activities across the Harrah's and Caesars Republic Lake Tahoe properties to deter and detect cheating, theft, and other suspicious or illegal behaviors. As a critical component of the property's overall security and risk management strategy, the Surveillance role helps protect company assets, ensure regulatory compliance, and uphold the integrity of gaming operations.

By maintaining constant vigilance and utilizing advanced surveillance technology, this position plays a vital role in safeguarding the safety and security of guests, team members, and the organization. The effectiveness of the Surveillance function directly supports Caesars' reputation, operational excellence, and commitment to providing a safe, fair, and trusted gaming environment.

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • Previous experience in gaming and/or surveillance desired.

  • Computer experience helpful.

  • Fluent and literate in English.

  • Ability to remain anonymous to customers and team members in order to observe live gaming or money handling areas

  • Good verbal and written communication skills.

  • Good math skills.

  • Ability to uphold and demonstrate the highest level of integrity in all situations and recognize standards required by a regulated business

  • Acts as a role model to other Team Members and always presents oneself as a credit to Caesars Entertainment and encourages others to do the same.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to use repetitive motion, reach, grasp, hold, finger dexterity.

  • Ability to hear, see and have color distinction; vision correctable to 20/20.  Vision testing may be required.

  • Ability to climb ladders and stairs

  • Ability to sit or stand for extended period of time

  • Mobility skills to move quickly and easily around the property 

  • Positions that have contact with the public require the ability to work in a noisy 
    environment, and may be exposed to guests who use tobacco products.  Also, non-public contact positions may be required to enter public areas from time to time, in connection with their duties, and may be subject to the same environment.

  • Observes all casino games in order to deter and catch cheating activities.

  • Observes all Caesar's assets and money handling areas in order to deter and catch theft activities.

  • Monitors all high security areas for suspicious activities in order to report such activities and ensure the safety of Caesar's guests, team members, and property.

  • Enters and retrieves information from computer database and hard copy files in order to utilize such information in surveillance activities.

  • Checks all cameras, DVR's and operating equipment to ensure their proper effectiveness in surveillance activities.
