Cadd Software Developer Jobs (NOW HIRING)

A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a CADD Support Consultant.
Position Type: Contract
Duration: 12 months 
Location: Atlanta, GA (Hybrid)
As a CADD Support Consultant, you will,

• Support the development, testing, implementation, and day-to-day administration of CADD software and workspaces within the Department.
• Provide technical support for Bentley OpenRoads Designer (ORD) and Bentley OpenBridge Modeler, along with legacy CADD environments including Bentley InRoads, MicroStation SS2, CAiCE, and Bentley MicroStation J.
• Troubleshoot and resolve CADD-related user issues submitted through the ServiceNow ticketing system.
• Perform CADD software installations and configurations for Department users as needed.
• Assist external users with CADD workspace installation and configuration.
• Support the development, maintenance, and documentation of Engineering Software standards, CADD workflows, and best practices.
• Develop and document how-to guides, workflows, and business processes to help users effectively utilize CADD software and Department workspaces.
• Assist with the development and delivery of CADD software and workspace training sessions for Department personnel.
• Document and revise existing and new business processes to support new or updated CADD software requirements.
• Research and evaluate new and emerging CADD technologies and provide recommendations to Department personnel and management regarding potential implementation.
• Collaborate with technical and engineering teams to identify opportunities to improve CADD workflows, software utilization, and design/plan preparation processes.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Hands-on experience supporting CADD software and CADD workspaces in an enterprise or engineering environment.
• Experience with Bentley CADD products, particularly Bentley OpenRoads Designer (ORD) and/or Bentley OpenBridge Modeler.
• Strong troubleshooting and technical support skills, including the ability to diagnose and resolve CADD software, workspace, installation, and configuration issues.
• Experience working with MicroStation or other Bentley-based engineering/design applications.
• Ability to develop and maintain CADD standards, workflows, technical documentation, and best practices.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to provide technical assistance and user support to both technical and non-technical users.
• Ability to develop and/or deliver user training and knowledge-transfer sessions.
• Experience documenting and improving technical/business processes related to CADD software and engineering workflows.
• Ability to investigate technical issues, research solutions, and make recommendations for CADD technology improvements.
• Experience working with a ticketing/service management system, preferably ServiceNow.

Preferred:

• Transportation engineering/CADD experience, particularly within DOT, transportation, civil engineering, roadway, bridge, or infrastructure projects.
• Previous Public Sector/Government or Department of Transportation (DOT) experience.
• Experience with legacy Bentley products such as Bentley InRoads, MicroStation SS2, CAiCE, and Bentley MicroStation J.
• Knowledge of Visual Basic/VBA for CADD-related automation or customization.
• Experience with Python for CADD automation, scripting, or workflow improvement.
• Experience developing CADD software training materials, user guides, and technical documentation.
• Knowledge of engineering software standards, design workflows, and plan preparation processes.
• Experience evaluating new and emerging CADD technologies and recommending solutions for enterprise implementation.

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:
Salary Range*:  $50 to $55 Per hour.
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
