Are you a people person who thrives on helping others? Do you enjoy solving problems and creating positive experiences? If so, we want YOU on our team! As a Substance Use Disorder Counselor, you will meet with each client, assess their past and present drug use, and devise a course of treatment.


Essential Job Functions:

  • Conduct comprehensive intake assessments for new clients to evaluate needs and establish appropriate services.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings and client goals.
  • Provide ongoing individual therapy sessions and monitor client progress.
  • Facilitate group counseling sessions as appropriate.
  • Refer clients to appropriate community resources and specialized providers when indicated.
  • Review, evaluate, and modify treatment plans as clinically necessary.
  • Complete accurate and timely progress notes in accordance with agency and regulatory standards.
  • Review and update treatment plans for assigned clients on a monthly basis.
  • Document all client interactions, assessments, and services provided in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.
  • Attend and actively participate in weekly staff meetings and clinical case reviews.
  • Maintain required professional licensure and certifications through ongoing continuing education and training.
  • Comply with all applicable HIPAA regulations and agency policies regarding confidentiality and privacy.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the immediate supervisor.

*$6,000 sign-on bonus will be paid in quarterly installments of $1,500 every three months, contingent upon continued, in good standing employment.
