Job description

Our client is seeking a CAD Drafter to support civil, environmental, and geotechnical engineering projects. This position will be responsible for creating detailed project drawings from conceptual design through construction documentation while maintaining company CAD standards. The role also provides technical support for Autodesk Civil 3D users and collaborates closely with engineering teams on a variety of projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare civil, environmental, and geotechnical drawings from schematic design through construction documents

• Develop and revise plans, profiles, details, and technical drawings using CAD software

• Maintain compliance with company CAD standards and drafting procedures

• Support engineering teams with Autodesk Civil 3D troubleshooting and technical assistance

• Interpret technical data, engineering plans, and project requirements

• Coordinate with engineers and project teams to ensure accurate project deliverables

• Manage multiple drafting assignments and meet project deadlines

• Assist with project documentation and drawing updates throughout project lifecycles

• Travel to project sites and company offices as needed

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of professional CAD drafting experience

• Proficiency with CAD software; Autodesk Civil 3D experience preferred

• Valid Driver's License with acceptable driving record
