Position Overview

Our Client is seeking a detail-oriented Remote CAD Support Specialist to support facilities and operations teams by creating and maintaining accurate office and facility layout drawings. This individual will be responsible for translating existing building floor plans, office configurations, and space utilization data into professional CAD drawings and producing PDF deliverables for stakeholder review and planning purposes.

The ideal candidate has strong AutoCAD experience, exceptional attention to detail, and prior experience developing facility, office, or commercial space layouts.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and update 2D CAD drawings of office and facility layouts based on existing floor plans, measurements, sketches, and stakeholder input.
  • Map office spaces, workstations, conference rooms, common areas, and facility infrastructure within AutoCAD.
  • Maintain accurate and organized CAD files, drawing standards, and revision histories.
  • Convert finalized CAD drawings into PDF formats for distribution, review, and recordkeeping.
  • Incorporate feedback and revisions from facilities, operations, and management teams.
  • Verify drawing accuracy, dimensions, and space allocations.
  • Collaborate remotely with facility stakeholders to gather requirements and clarify layout details.
  • Ensure all drawings are completed according to established standards and timelines.

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience using AutoCAD or similar CAD software.
  • Experience creating facility, office, commercial, architectural, or space-planning drawings.
  • Strong understanding of floor plans, dimensions, and spatial layouts.
  • Proficiency converting CAD files into professional PDF deliverables.
  • High attention to detail and ability to work independently in a remote environment.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting facilities management, workplace planning, or corporate real estate teams.
  • Familiarity with architectural or interior space planning drawings.
