- Create simple 2D drawings under the guidance of the senior detailer.
- Convert 3D models into precise 2D drawings suitable for fabrication or documentation.
- Verify dimensions and geometry when translating 3D models to 2D.
- Review drawings for completeness and accuracy before submission.
- Update existing drawings with redlines, revisions, and corrected dimensions.
- Help assemble submittal packages or project documentation.
- Maintain CAD library of parts, symbols, and templates.
- Learn from senior team members and expand CAD skills over time.
Required Qualifications:
- Knowledgeable in AutoCAD.
- Familiar with Autodesk Inventor.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy when creating or updating drawings.
- Basic knowledge of drafting standards and conventions (line types, layers, dimensions, annotations).
- Basic computer proficiency, including word processing, spreadsheets, and email.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to provide strong customer service and effectively interface with customers and vendors in a fast-paced environment
- Must be a team player and help where needed yet motivated to work independently.
- Flexibility to work some weekends and nights as required by project schedules, which may include holidays.
