    Full-time | Onsite | Contract-to-Hire
     
    Targeted pay rate: $27-38/hr depending upon qualification
     
    Kelly Engineering seeks a skilled AutoCAD Technician to join our client’s team. In this role, you’ll be specializing in AutoCAD 2D layouts for warehouse automation projects. You'll work closely with project and engineering teams to design efficient layouts based on the latest automation technologies.
    Responsibilities
    • Create and refine 2D AutoCAD layouts for automated warehouse systems
    • Apply technical design guidelines and product requirements
    • Integrate site-specific constraints, such as column locations, walls, safety zones, and access areas
    • Support layout development throughout all project stages, from concept through to final execution
    • Incorporate feedback from project managers, hardware integration, and engineering teams
    • Ensure all drawings meet quality and consistency standards, maintaining proper version control

    What You’ll Need:
    • Advanced skills in AutoCAD (2D)
    • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar CAD design role
    • Comfortable interpreting and applying technical design rules and standards
