Job Summary:
The 3D CAD Engineer is responsible for generating high-quality 3D CAD models, engineering drawings, and blueprints in support of the design and manufacturing of Small Modular Reactor (SMR) self-contained power generation systems. The role ensures that all models and drawings comply with ASME Y14.5 GD&T standards, and supports engineering, manufacturing, and configuration management teams by delivering precise, production-ready documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
ยทย  ย  ย  Develop and maintain detailed 3D CAD models for piping, mechanical, and process systems using approved CAD software.
ยทย  ย  ย  Produce accurate engineering drawings and blueprints that comply with ASME Y14.5 GD&T standards and aerospace-quality manufacturing practices.
ยทย  ย  ย  Collaborate with engineers, metrology, and manufacturing teams to ensure designs are manufacturable, functional, and meet project requirements.
ยทย  ย  ย  Support configuration management by maintaining organized CAD files and documentation in accordance with departmental procedures.
ยทย  ย  ย  Assist in design reviews and provide technical input on manufacturability, tolerances, and fit.
ยทย  ย  ย  Update and revise drawings as required based on engineering changes, field feedback, or manufacturing needs.

Qualifications:
