Job description

Job Summary:

As a CAD Drafter you will play a critical role in producing accurate technical drawings and designs that support our engineering, manufacturing, and production teams. This position requires expertise in computer-aided design (CAD) software, strong attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with multiple departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and prepare detailed 2D/3D CAD drawings, schematics, and layouts based on specifications and input from engineers or project managers.
  • Review and interpret engineering plans, specifications, and other documents to accurately complete drawing assignments.
  • Update and maintain design documentation and drawings, ensuring all changes are recorded and versions are controlled.
  • Collaborate with engineers, production teams, and management to ensure accuracy and feasibility of designs.
  • Ensure designs comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and company protocols.
  • Conduct quality checks on designs and make necessary revisions based on feedback.
  • Assist in the development of technical documentation such as assembly instructions, parts lists, and installation guides.
  • Participate in meetings and design reviews, providing input from a drafting and design perspective.
  • Stay updated with the latest CAD software, tools, and best practices to enhance productivity and accuracy.

Work Hours:

Your regular work hours will be from 8:30am to 5:00pm, Monday through Thursday and 8:30am to 2:00pm on Friday. Occasional overtime may be required based on business needs, for which you will be compensated accordingly.
