🚨 Electrical CAD Technician – Albuquerque, NM
PTS Advance is seeking an Electrical CAD Technician to support technical teams of detailers, designers, and engineers on a variety of projects. This is a great opportunity for a detail-oriented CAD professional looking to build their skills and contribute to high-quality engineering and design projects.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
- Assist detailers, designers, and engineers in developing high-quality CAD solutions.
- Prepare and revise engineering drawings, basic components, and layouts from sketches or existing designs.
- Prepare and revise plot drawings.
- Assist with drafting design and project documentation.
- Follow company and client drafting standards, procedures, and discipline-specific drafting practices.
- Utilize standard CAD and drafting programs to complete project assignments.
- Research project concerns and assist in recommending solutions to design problems.
- Support continuous drafting and design improvement efforts.
- Assist with special projects and other assignments as directed by management.
- Perform other duties as assigned while complying with company policies and standards.
📋 Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED and coursework in Drafting Technology required.
- AutoCAD experience required.
- Minimum 3.0 GPA.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Demonstrated leadership skills.
- Self-motivated with a strong desire to learn, grow, and develop within the CAD field.

- CAD experience with some GIS experience.
- Specialized CAD certification.
