Job OverviewWe are seeking an EXPERIENCED, motivated and skilled Carpenter / Cabinet Installer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing cabinets, countertops, and related woodwork with precision and care. Your expertise in carpentry, woodworking, and construction will help ensure our projects are completed efficiently and to the highest standards. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to work on residential projects that transform spaces and delight homeowners.

Duties

  • Measure, cut, assemble, and install cabinets, countertops, trim, and other woodwork according to construction plans and technical drawings
  • Interpret blueprints and technical drawings accurately to ensure precise installation
  • Use hand tools and power tools for woodworking safely and effectively during installation processes
  • Perform heavy lifting of materials such as cabinetry, countertops, and framing components while maintaining safety protocols
  • Follow power tool safety guidelines consistently to prevent accidents on-site
  • Collaborate with project managers and other tradespeople to ensure timely completion of projects

Skills

  • Strong knowledge of construction estimating and reading construction plans or blueprints
  • Proficiency with hand tools, power tools for woodworking, woodworking machines, metal stud framing tools, and wood construction materials
  • Experience in residential carpentry including trim carpentry, frame carpentry, siding, flooring installation, and remodeling projects
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings accurately for precise installations
  • Knowledge of drywall application, caulking, and fixture installation is a plus.
  • Construction site experience with heavy lifting and working safely around construction materials
