Job description

Role Overview

The Operations Manager is responsible for ensuring that Reaxiomaticโ€™s physical workspace supports the companyโ€™s operational needs as it grows from its earliest stages. This role manages the planning, build-out, operation, and ongoing improvement of the facility, coordinating contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure the environment is functional, organized, and ready for both technical work and external visitors.

The position requires someone who can manage complex facility projects while maintaining close attention to small operational details. The role spans infrastructure planning, contractor management, equipment readiness, and day-to-day operations. The goal is to create a workspace that reliably supports engineering work while also providing a professional and well-run environment for employees, partners, and visitors.

Required Qualifications
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex projects involving multiple vendors, budgets, and constrained timelines.
  • Strong operational attention to detail, including facility organization, cable management, cleanliness, curb appeal, and hospitality considerations.
  • Experience operating within high-growth startup environments where infrastructure and facility needs evolve rapidly.
  • Demonstrated ability to solve operational problems creatively when conventional approaches are too slow, expensive, or impractical.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting high-growth aerospace, hardware, or industrial startups where facilities required significant modification to support equipment installation, utilities expansion, or specialized infrastructure.
Reporting Structure and Scope

This role reports directly to the Founder and CEO.

The Operations Manager owns the selection, operation, maintenance, and vendor management of standard corporate functions and utilities including internet, water, power, and waste services. The role is responsible for managing facility expansion and modification projects, such as electrical capacity upgrades, equipment installation support, and coordination of external contractors required to enable engineering and operational work.

The position is an individual contributor role without initial direct reports. However, the role manages subcontractors, vendors, and external service providers as needed to execute facility projects and maintain operations.

In addition to infrastructure management, the role owns the employee and visitor experience within the facility. This includes the flow of visitors through the building, check-in processes, cleanliness and organization of shared spaces, availability of refreshments, and the overall operational environment of the office. The goal is to maintain a workspace that supports productive technical work while presenting a professional and well-run environment to external partners and visitors.
