Job description

Amteck Technologiesspecializes in the design, installation, testing, certification and support of structured cabling systems. This also includes systems installation and certification of fire alarms, paging/sound, CCTV and CATV. This is a growing division ofAmteck LLC that offers competitive pay, benefits and room for advancement within the company. We are currently hiring a Low Voltage Superintendent for local and traveling roles in our Louisville, KY office. This position is based out of our Louisville, KY location with opportunities for travel nation wide.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience installing and terminating optical fiber cable, Cat 6A, Cat 6, Cat 5E and coax cable in commercial and/or industrial environments
  • Ability to install, terminate, program, and troubleshoot access control systems, intrusion detection systems, and CCTV systems in commercial and industrial environments
  • Knowledge of NEC and ANSI/TIA standards
  • Experience programming and commissioning new systems, as well as performing customer training
  • Must be able to read blueprints, specifications, and contract documents
  • Certifications with any of the following manufacturers preferred but not required.
    • Avigilon
    • S2- Lenel
    • DSX
    • Gallagher
    • Identicard
    • Paxton
    • RS2

Special requirements:

  • Certification with Avigilon or S2-Lenel strongly preferred
  • BICSI Certification desired but not required
