What is a cable helper?

Cable Helpers are entry-level workers who assist experienced cable installers and technicians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of cable television, internet, and telephone lines. Communication with team members is crucial to ensure safety and accuracy during cable runs and installations. Developing strong problem-solving skills and staying organized can help Cable Helpers adapt to unexpected obstacles, such as inaccessible pathways or equipment malfunctions. Regular safety training and a proactive approach to teamwork are key to overcoming these challenges and succeeding in the role.
