Job Description
Qualifications and Experience Requirements
  • 8 hrs. shift weekdays working evening/night hours
  • Cleans and sanitizes bathrooms, breakrooms, offices, common spaces, and manufacturing spaces
  • Cleans, mops, washes, buffs, and vacuums floors.
  • Empties trash and recycling materials
  • Maintains outside walk areas, including salting walkways, shoveling, sweeping debris and washing.
  • Cleans and polishes fixtures, windows, and furniture.
  • Tracks and orders custodial supplies.
  • Assists with setup and teardown from meetings and other events.
  • Light painting and other small simple facility repair as needed.
  • Will handle a variety of general chemicals used for cleaning
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Prior experience with custodial duties and ability to operate equipment safely
  • Must be able to read and understand English to be able to communicate with Supervision and comprehend work instructions.
  • Continuous standing and walking throughout the entire shift; regular lifting/moving up to 40 pounds. Frequent pulling, pushing and bending.

Maintain positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a manner that gets along with customers, clients, co-workers and supervisors. The custodian maintains a clean working environment for all staff and visitors, ensuring all areas are safe and well-maintained.
