Job Overview:

Requirement/Must Have:

  • 1+ years of previous Mechanical Assembly Experience.
  • Experience with Torque wrenches and hand tools.
  • Basic Computer Skills with some ERP Systems.
  • Strong Soldering skills.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities:

  • Determines and/or follows methods and sequence of operations in performing wiring, component installation, hand soldering and cable harnessing on assembly units.
  • Makes setups and adjustments holding tolerances to blueprint specifications.
  • Works under limited supervision.
  • Communicates with contacts typically within and outside the department on matters that involve obtaining or providing information requiring explanation or interpretation to understand and reach agreement.

Nice to Have:

  • Aerospace or defense experience is ideal but not critical.
  • AMLCD assembly and Display Ruggedization experience.
  • AOI & SMT experience.

Skills:

  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to follow written and drawn work instructions.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders.

Qualification And Education:

  • Requires a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.
