What is Cabinet Vision?

Cabinet Vision is a specialized software used in the woodworking and cabinetmaking industry for designing, engineering, and manufacturing custom cabinets and wood furniture. It provides tools for creating detailed 3D models, generating precise cut lists, and producing CNC machine-ready files. This software streamlines the workflow from initial design to final production, increasing efficiency and accuracy. Many cabinet shops and manufacturers use Cabinet Vision to reduce manual errors and save time during the design-to-manufacturing process.

What are jobs that use Cabinet Vision?

Cabinet Vision is a software product developed by Hexagon, used for drafting cabinet plans. You can also use this software to design furniture and other wood and stone installations. These drafting and programming jobs can have different titles such as Cabinet Vision specialists, Cabinet Vision engineer, or millwork drafter. Some Cabinet Vision specialists use the program to make custom cabinetry based on the designs of a client. In each case, your particular duties and responsibilities may vary somewhat depending on the position and your employer, but you should have an expert-level knowledge of drafting and manufacturing processes.
