Roark Studio is looking for an experienced cabinet builder to join our small, highly skilled team in Charlottesville, VA. We design and build premium custom cabinetry and select furniture pieces for clients who appreciate exceptional quality and attention to detail.

Unlike a production shop, every project is unique. You'll work in a collaborative two- to three-person shop where your ideas, craftsmanship, and problem-solving skills make a real impact.

What You'll Do

  • Build high-end custom cabinets from start to finish.
  • Read shop drawings and architectural plans.
  • Operate woodworking machinery and hand tools safely and efficiently.
  • Assemble, fit, and finish cabinetry to exacting standards.
  • Work closely with a small team to solve problems and continually improve our processes.

Who We're Looking For

We're searching for someone who takes pride in their work and enjoys building products that will last for decades.

You should have:

  • Knowledge of woodworking equipment and shop safety.
  • The ability to accurately read plans and shop drawings.
  • Solid computer skills and a willingness to learn new technology.
  • A positive attitude, reliability, and a strong work ethic.

Experience with Mozaik, Chief Architect, or Google Workspace is a plus, but we're happy to train the right person.
