Experienced Cabinet Installer / Assembler

ROYAL BUILT LLC

Spokane Valley, WA • On-site

$25 - $32/hr

Full-time

Posted 14 days ago

Job description

Royal Built is seeking experienced Cabinet Installers / Assemblers to join our growing installation team.

We specialize in professional cabinet assembly and installation for residential and multi-family construction projects. We are looking for individuals who already have hands-on experience with cabinet installation, finish carpentry, millwork, or a closely related trade.

This is not an entry-level position.

The ideal candidate understands that professional cabinet installation requires more than simply fastening cabinets to a wall. We are looking for installers who can work accurately, efficiently, maintain consistent reveals and alignment, and produce a finished product that meets professional quality standards.

Compensation

$25.00–$32.00/hour DOE

Starting pay will be determined based on:

Cabinet installation experience

Experience with frameless / European-style cabinetry

Finish carpentry skills

Ability to independently complete installations

Quality and accuracy of finished work

Productivity and ability to maintain schedule

Ability to read plans and cabinet layouts

Overall construction experience

Higher starting rates are reserved for experienced installers who can demonstrate the ability to complete professional installations with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

Assemble and install kitchen, bathroom, and other cabinetry

Install frameless / European-style cabinets

Read cabinet layouts, plans, dimensions, and installation drawings

Establish cabinet elevations using lasers and levels

Install cabinets level, plumb, square, and properly aligned

Maintain consistent door, drawer, and cabinet reveals

Install fillers, panels, toe kicks, trim, and related finish components

Make accurate field cuts and adjustments when required

Identify installation or site-condition issues before they become larger problems

Maintain professional workmanship and jobsite cleanliness

Work efficiently with other installers and construction trades

Protect installed cabinetry and surrounding finished surfaces

Qualifications

Required:

Previous cabinet installation, cabinet assembly, finish carpentry, millwork, or comparable construction experience

Ability to accurately use a tape measure

Experience using drills, impact drivers, saws, levels, lasers, and standard installation tools

Understanding of level, plumb, square, reveals, and proper cabinet alignment

Ability to perform physical construction work throughout the workday

Dependable attendance and punctuality

Reliable transportation

Ability to work Monday through Friday

Ability and willingness to travel for out-of-town projects

Experience installing frameless / European-style cabinetry is strongly preferred.

Travel Requirements

Royal Built is based in the Spokane, Washington area, but we perform work throughout the region.

For projects located more than approximately one hour from Spokane, employees must be prepared to travel and remain near the project Monday through Friday.

Hotel accommodations for required overnight work are paid for by Royal Built.

Applicants should only apply if they are comfortable with regular weekday travel when project locations require it.

What We're Looking For

We want installers who take pride in the final product.

A successful candidate should be someone who can look at an installation and immediately recognize when something isn't level, when reveals aren't consistent, when a filler needs adjustment, or when an installation doesn't meet professional standards.

We value quality, productivity, reliability, attention to detail, and accountability.

This position is a good fit for an experienced installer who wants consistent work, competitive compensation, and the opportunity to grow with a professional cabinet installation company.
