Job description


We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented custom cabinetmaker and/or finisher to join our cabinet manufacturing team in St. Cloud, MN. In this dynamic role, you will actively support various fabrication, machining, and assembly processes in our shop environment. Your energy and enthusiasm will help ensure smooth operations, high-quality output, and a safe workspace.

Hours for the position are Monday-Thursday, 6:00 - 3:30, and Friday, 6:00 - 10:00 a.m.

Responsibilities

  • Possibly assist with the setup, operation, and maintenance of equipment such as CNC equipment
  • Read and interpret cabinet shop drawings to ensure accurate assembly and fabrication of parts.
  • Use measuring instruments such as tape measures and dial gauges for quality inspection and measurement verification.
  • Possibly operate forklifts and cranes safely to move materials within the shop area.
  • Perform basic math calculations necessary for machining setups and measurements.
  • Maintain a clean, organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols at all times.

Qualifications

  • Cabinetry: 2 years (Required)
  • Basic knowledge of blueprint reading and mechanical principles.
  • Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment safely and effectively.
  • Familiarity with CNC programming or operation is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided.
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent hand-eye coordination for quality inspection tasks.
  • Physical ability to lift materials, stand for extended periods, and work in a busy shop environment.

The team consists of skilled craftsmen, experienced drafters, meticulous project managers and creative designers. They pride themselves on their in-house management and craftsmanship of quality cabinetry, specialty millwork, custom woodwork and fabrication of solid surface and laminate counter tops.
