Position Summary:
This position focuses on building and maintaining customer relationships to drive sales of kitchen and bath cabinetry. Key responsibilities include identifying and developing new business opportunities, designing, preparing quotes and proposals, and providing expert advice on materials, pricing, and applications. The role involves frequent customer site visits, tracking project progress, and ensuring timely delivery of products. Success in this position requires strong knowledge of the lumber industry, building processes, and local codes, along with excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills. Candidates should be motivated, customer-focused, and adept at managing multiple projects while achieving sales targets.
Responsibilities:
  • Create custom designs for customers using 2020 Cabinet Design Software, ensuring all required installation notes and details are captured in plans Assist customers in viewing cabinet samples or displays.
  • Proactively manage and maintain accurate sales team quote pipeline and order pipeline in BisTrack.
  • Identify and develop quality sales leads; plan and complete customer follow up to lead customers through the sales process and close sales
  • Use persuasive selling skills to create cabinet sales including upgraded cabinet features and other product category items to maximize customer experience and satisfaction
  • Maintain accurate documentation of customer activity; document the customer sales process and maintain customer records
  • Document and update pipeline report, maintaining accurate information on a weekly basis.
  • Stay up to date with trends and competitor's developments to ensure designs are current with market expectations.
  • Complete accurate order forms and supporting documentation and submit
  • Collect deposits, payments from customer as required.
  • Adhere to Hayward's safety standards and enforce safety regulation.

Requirements
  • 1 - 3 years inside sales, design and/or showroom experience.
  • 2020 design software experience is a plus
  • Understanding of remodeling and local building codes is a plus
  • Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Suite
  • Strong organizational skills, including ability to multi-task and prioritize workload.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with all exterior and internal customers
  • Results-driven, detail-oriented, and competitive drive
