Job description

The Laundry Attendant is responsible for ensuring all linens and towels are cleaned, sanitized, folded, and prepared to meet company standards for guest-ready cabin rentals. This role is critical to maintaining quality, cleanliness, and on-time property turnover in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Responsibilities

  • Sort, wash, dry, fold, and bag linens and towels according to established procedures.

  • Inspect all items for stains, damage, or wear and remove substandard pieces from circulation.

  • Maintain strict sanitation and quality control standards at all times.

  • Operate commercial washers, dryers, and folding equipment safely and efficiently.

  • Clean and perform routine maintenance on laundry equipment.

  • Track linen inventory levels and report shortages, losses, or replacement needs.

  • Organize and stage clean linen bags for delivery or distribution.

  • Assist with loading/unloading laundry carts and transport bins as needed.

  • Follow safety guidelines and proper chemical handling procedures.

  • Support team members to meet daily turnover deadlines.

Requirements
  • Physical stamina and strength to lift, push, and pull laundry carts and linen loads throughout the shift.
