Job description

Marshall Orthopaedics, a university‑affiliated physician group, is currently seeking qualified candidates for two hand/upper extremity orthopaedic surgeon positions. These opportunities support a complementary academic‑based role at Cabell Huntington Hospital and a primarily clinical role at St. Mary’s Medical Center, both located in Huntington, West Virginia.

Position Details
  • Academic‑based position – Cabell Huntington Hospital – The role is based at our primary teaching hospital and academic medical center. Fellows will focus on hand and upper extremity surgery and will participate in resident and medical student education and scholarly activities through the Marshall University Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine.
  • Clinical position – St. Mary’s Medical Center – The role is a high‑volume clinical practice model with a focus on hand and upper extremity surgery. Academic participation is optional, though limited involvement in resident and medical student education and scholarly activities is available through the Marshall University Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine if desired.
