Job description

RESPONSIBILITIES:

In this role as Concrete Foreman, you will use experience in the field to ensure work is put in place with accuracy, to meet the job specifications, while motivating and effectively managing tradesman, collaborating with Superintendents, and communicating with others on the job site.

JOB DUTIES INCLUDE:

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of concrete workers and tradesmen
  • Read and interpret blueprints and project plans
  • Layout and oversee concrete projects from start to finish
  • Ensure all work meets the company's high standards for quality
  • Maintain a safe and efficient work environment
  • Communicate effectively with team members and management

REQUIREMENTS: 

  • Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in commercial construction, preferred
  • Proficient in the use of industry tools and equipment
  • Proficiency in reading blueprints and project layouts
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Up to date with the latest technology involving concrete work
  • Detail-oriented, well-organized, with an ability to multi-task
  • Task-oriented, reliable, and committed to meeting deadlines
  • Flexible availability, including some overtime and weekends
  • OSHA 10, preferred
  • Operator's certificate, preferred
  • Able to lift at least 35 pounds, unassisted, and stand for extended period
