Job description

Family Nurse Practitioner
E S S E N T I A L  F U N C T I O N S
Assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of all aspects of care for patients within scope of practice.
 Provides education to patients according to their needs.
 Coordinates healthcare team and delegates appropriate tasks to ancillary personnel.
 Writes prescriptions for medication, blood products based upon laboratory results, routine diagnostic and follow up studies, therapeutic measures, and post discharge care in accordance with written practice protocols.
Other duties as assigned.
E D U C A T I O N
Graduation from an accredited school of nursing/PA program required.
 Successful completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program for FNP required.
 Masters of Science in Nursing from an accredited program  for FNP required .
E X P E R I E N C E
Recent (2-4 years) of internal medicine experience preferred. 
C R E D E N T I A L S
Must have a current, valid license to practice medicine in the State of Wyoming and must be in good standing with the Board of Medicine.
 Must have a current, valid Controlled Substance Registration in the State of Wyoming and must be in good standing with the Board of Pharmacy.
 Must have a current, valid DEA Registration and must be in good standing with the DEA.

Ability to work with a wide variety of cultures.
 Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
