This position reports to:
Production Supervisor - 2nd Shift
Your role and responsibilities
The BWS Operator is responsible for supporting the unit in achieving the set production targets by adhering to the systems and processes. Uses machinery and equipment on the shop floor. Reads and interprets the technical diagrams/instructions for assembly of products/systems/panels.
The work model for the role is: Onsite
You will be mainly accountable for:
  • Configure and run winding machines (set parameters, load materials, adjust CNC settings) to meet production specs.
  • Track machine performance, identify issues, and inspect finished products to ensure accuracy, consistency, and quality standards.
  • Perform routine upkeep, replace worn components, and resolve common machine issues while escalating complex problems.
  • Follow safety procedures, record production data, support continuous improvement, and collaborate with maintenance, quality, and production teams.

Qualifications for the role
  • High School Diploma or GED required; 1+ year of manufacturing experience, military service, or relevant vocational/technical training (motor experience preferred).
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. and willing to work any assigned shift.
  • Detail-oriented with strong quality focus; able to work independently and effectively within a team environment.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive tasks; lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs; operate machinery for extended periods; wear required PPE.
  • Comfortable working in a manufacturing setting with noise, moving equipment, and varying temperatures.
