What does a buyer do?

A Buyer is responsible for purchasing goods and services for a company or organization, ensuring that the right products are sourced at the best possible prices. They research suppliers, negotiate contracts, evaluate quality and price, and manage relationships with vendors. Their work is essential to ensuring that businesses operate efficiently and meet their customers' needs.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a buyer, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Buyer, you need strong analytical skills, negotiation abilities, and a background in supply chain management or business, often supported by a relevant degree.
