As a Buyer at Cristek, you’ll help keep our manufacturing operations running by ensuring the right materials, components, and services are available when they’re needed. You’ll manage purchasing activities, work closely with suppliers, and partner with Planning, Production, Engineering, and Quality to solve problems and keep customer commitments on track.

This is a hands-on role for someone who is organized, responsive, and comfortable taking ownership in a fast-moving manufacturing environment.


What You’ll Do

  • Manage purchasing from requirements through delivery, including purchase orders, supplier follow-up, and expediting.
  • Procure materials, components, outside processing (OSP), and MRO supplies.
  • Build strong supplier relationships and address quality, cost, delivery, and responsiveness issues.
  • Partner across functions to prevent shortages, resolve issues, and support production priorities.
  • Maintain accurate purchasing and supplier information in ERP/MRP systems.
  • Support sourcing, supplier qualification, and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure purchasing activities meet company, customer, quality, and regulatory requirements, including ITAR.

What You Bring

  • Associate degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or a related field—or equivalent experience.
  • 2–4 years of purchasing, procurement, supply chain, or manufacturing experience.
  • Experience with ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong organization, communication, problem-solving, and follow-through.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and build effective supplier and internal relationships.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Aerospace, defense, electronics, or high-mix manufacturing experience is a plus.
