About the Role


We are seeking a highly organized and analyticalProcurement Plannerto join our team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for ensuring materials and supplies are available to support production schedules while maintaining cost efficiency and strong supplier relationships.

The ideal candidate has experience in procurement, inventory planning, ERP systems, and supplier coordination within a manufacturing or industrial setting.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain procurement plans to ensure timely material availability
  • Analyze inventory levels, forecasts, and production schedules to determine purchasing needs
  • Create and process purchase orders accurately and efficiently
  • Track procurement activities from order placement through delivery
  • Coordinate with suppliers regarding pricing, delivery schedules, and order status
  • Monitor supplier performance and resolve supply chain disruptions
  • Partner with production, logistics, warehouse, finance, and operations teams to support business needs
  • Maintain and update ERP systems and procurement databases
  • Prepare procurement reports and inventory analysis using Excel
  • Conduct supplier and market research to identify cost-saving opportunities
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and process optimization
  • Maintain documentation and purchasing records with high accuracy


Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, or related field preferred
  • 35+ years of procurement, purchasing, supply chain, inventory planning, or related experience
  • Experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred
  • Strong understanding of procurement and inventory management processes
  • Proficiency with ERP systems and procurement software
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (reporting, data analysis, spreadsheets)
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Excellent organization, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities
  • Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with supplier negotiations and vendor management
  • Knowledge of contract administration and procurement compliance
