Overview
Ansible Government Solutions, LLC (Ansible) is currently seeking a Urologist to support operations at the Martinsburg VA Medical Center located at 510 Butler Avenue, Martinsburg, WV 25405.Schedule is typically Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm with call. Full-time and Locum Tenens positions with generous compensation packages are available.

Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive urology services, including outpatient clinic care, consults, cystoscopies, surgeries, and basic urological procedures.
  • Perform inpatient rounds for urological patients.
  • Conduct specialty exams (e.g., compensation and pension, agent orange) related to urological conditions.
  • Communicate test results to patients and providers per VA policy.
  • Provide discharge education and follow-up instructions for clinical and surgical patients.
  • Adhere to established medication policies (no sample medications).
  • Participate in on-call coverage, responding to phone consultations and being available on-site within 60 minutes.
  • Attend quality improvement and staff meetings as required.
  • Complete documentation for quality management, patient safety, and infection control.
  • Participate in continuous quality improvement activities and committee meetings.
  • Ensure compliance with patient safety standards and report incidents as required.
  • Maintain accurate and timely medical records in the VA electronic health record system.
  • Complete mandatory trainings and participate in performance evaluations.
Qualifications
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology.
  • Active, full, and unrestricted license to practice medicine in any U.S. State, Territory, Commonwealth, or the District of Columbia.
  • Active AHA BLS and ACLS certifications.
  • NPI report printout
  • Active DEA license
  • Must be able to pass a federal background investigation

All candidates must be able to:
  • Sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, twist, and reach above shoulders during the work shift
  • Lift up to 50 lbs from floor to waist
  • Lift up to 20 lbs
  • Carry up to 40 lbs a reasonable distance
  • Push/pull with 30 lbs of force
