Amentum is looking for an Logistics Business Analyst to join our team in Huntsville, AL.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in logistics support activities centered on data quality support and enterprise data management relative to the Army's ERP systems, specifically GCSS-Army, LMP, GFEBS, and AESIP.

  • Assist in defining technical solutions to support identified metrics, as well as monitoring Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) data quality and availability using metrics and audits.

  • Enforce the business processes implemented for the organization's enterprise data management and data integration.

  • Perform technical analysis by assessing the areas of impact of data issues from all levels of the enterprise.

  • Utilize qualitative and quantitative techniques in analyzing and measuring the effectiveness and efficiency of the data that will be used in support of business processes.

  • Assist in maintaining and sustaining migration efforts and management of future migration requirements.

  • Prepare functional specification documents and user guides for reference of the end users.

  • Develop briefings and reports as requested by the customer.

  • Maintain an awareness of trends that may either positively or negatively affect the customer.

  • Follow policies, procedures and controls to ensure the proper creation, validation, storage, integration, quality, timeliness, and backup and recovery of metadata.

  • Perform business and technical presentations in relation to metadata and solutions addressing business problems.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Master's degree and at least 2 years of Business Analyst experience

    • Or a Bachelor's degree, and at least 4 years of Business Analyst experience

    • Or an Associates degree, and at least 6 years of Business Analyst experience

    • Or a High school diploma/GED, and at least 8 years of Business Analyst experience

  • Background in Army logistics

  • Understanding and awareness of ERP interfaces and dependencies

  • Knowledge and understanding of the Logistics Enterprise transformation into an ERP-dominated environment

  • Experience querying and analyzing data from various sources using tools (such as SQL, Python, PySpark, Vantage, etc.) to process large datasets in a distributed cluster

  • A range of technical knowledge, including application development, project management, scheduling, etc.

  • Must have an Active Secret US Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to maintain a Secret Clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Vantage and/or Collibra

  • Communication and presentation skills to perform stakeholder management, resolution management, and facilitate Working Groups and Integrated Product Teams (IPTs)

  • Ability to articulate objectives of enterprise data quality management

  • Ability to work in an ever-changing environment managing multiple tasks and projects

  • Ability to participate in implementing innovative ideas, projects and business solutions

Compensation Details:

$57,000 - $71,427.20

Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as job responsibilities, education, experience, skills, internal equity, market data, applicable collective bargaining agreements, and relevant laws.
