MBA, Investment Banking Associate - 2027

Key Details:

  • Full-time new hires will start in a two-year program commencing in July 2027.

  • The two-year development program is designed as a career accelerator to foster the next generation of investment banking talent.

  • Participation in the program requires that you are located in the continental United States with in-person attendance at your assigned location.

  • The location for the duration of this program will be in McLean, Virginia.

  • This role requires access to Controlled Unclassified Information. Candidates must qualify as a "U.S. Person" in accordance with applicable export control regulations. U.S. Persons include U.S. citizens (by birth or naturalization), U.S. nationals, lawful permanent residents of the U.S. ("green card holder"), individuals granted asylum in the U.S., and individuals admitted in the U.S. with refugee status.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining, a 2-year MBA with an expectation that your degree will be obtained by July 2027 or earlier

  • At least 1 year of Corporate & Investment Banking, Consulting, Private Equity, or Transaction Advisory experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Financial modeling experience, including DCF and LBO valuations

  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills

  • Knowledge of general accounting and finance principles

  • Strong written and oral presentation skills

  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

The Investment Banking Development Program is seeking to hire a MBA full-time Associate to join KippsDeSanto & Co. The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.

McLean, VA: $175,000 - $175,000 for MBA Investment Banking Full-Time Associate











Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate's offer letter.

This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
