Job description

Role - Business Technical Analyst
Location - 446 West Crogan St., Lawrenceville, GA 30046 On-Site: This position will be required to report on-site.
Duration - 6-12 months
We are looking for an experienced Business Technical Analyst to evaluate and understand current business processes and systems, identify improvement opportunities, and document both current and future state workflows while serving as a key liaison between business and IT teams to translate business needs into clear, actionable requirements. This role will also be responsible for coordinating activities across stakeholders, tracking progress of tasks, and ensuring follow-through on deliverables and decisions. The ideal candidate will be able to effectively communicate findings through written documentation and presentations to both technical and non-technical audiences, including stakeholders and leadership, while keeping workstreams organized, aligned, and moving forward.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or similar role focused on systems, processes, and requirements analysis
  • Strong experience identifying system and business process issues, performing root cause analysis, and documenting findings
  • Experience supporting system testing activities including UAT, integration testing, and functional testing
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly convey technical and business information through documentation, discussions, and executive-level summaries

Preferred Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Information Technology, or related field
  • 10+ years of hands-on experience as a Functional, Data, or Business Analyst with direct responsibility for system validation, requirements documentation, and process analysis
  • Proven experience performing system validation and supporting testing to ensure solutions meet documented requirements
  • Strong experience documenting business requirements, process flows, and system documentation with a high level of accuracy and clarity
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office tools including Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, and Outlook
  • 10+ years of customer-facing experience including project coordination, stakeholder engagement, and presentations
  • 10+ years of experience working in the full Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, testing, validation, and deployment support
  • Strong understanding of enterprise IT environments, including SDLC, change control, application development, release management, networks, storage, data centers, desktop support, and service desks
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly explain technical and business concepts
  • Strong organizational and coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks, priorities, and deadlines
  • Experience supporting change management and driving adoption of new systems and processes
  • Self-starter with a positive, action-oriented approach and the ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives

Responsibilities:
  • Analyze business processes and systems to identify pain points, gaps, inefficiencies, and root causes of issues
  • Assess system functionality and performance to detect defects, breakdowns, and improvement opportunities
  • Gather, document, and validate business and system requirements to ensure alignment with technical and operational needs
  • Create and maintain clear documentation including process flows, system diagrams, requirements, and issue logs
  • Perform data analysis using tools such as Excel and SQL to validate issues, identify trends, and support decision-making
  • Support system testing activities including functional testing, integration testing, and UAT to validate fixes and enhancements
  • Translate complex technical and system issues into clear executive summaries and actionable insights for leadership
  • Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to clarify requirements, validate findings, and define viable solutions
  • Conduct workshops, interviews, and analysis sessions to understand business needs and system-related challenges
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with stakeholders at all levels, ensuring consistent understanding, alignment, and transparency throughout issue resolution and delivery efforts

Availability Requirements:
Monday - Friday (8AM-5PM); No overtime.
After Hours; Weekends and Holidays - Emergency Only Term: 6 to 12 Months
