Job description

Albany State University is a fully accredited senior unit of the University System of Georgia. Location
Our West Campus is located at 2400 Gillionville Road, Albany, GA 31707. Our East Campus is located at 504 College Drive, Albany, GA 31705. The Human Resources office for both campuses is located on the West Campus in Building K, Suite 111.
Job Summary
This position reports to the IT Integration Specialist. The Business Process Automation Assistant will assist with day-to-day operations of Technology Integration & Automation. The day-to-day operations will consist of the creation and maintenance of forms, form data management, and the creation of no-code/low-code applications. General technology and event support will also be provided by the Business Process Automation Assistant on a management basis.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain digital forms using Microsoft Forms and Smartsheet
  • Manage new and existing data using Microsoft Forms and Smartsheet
  • Assist with the development of no-code/low-code applications
  • Provide assistance to students, faculty, staff, and contractors/outsourcers/vendors via email, in person, or by phone with finding the correct department and personnel to address related university business issues.
  • Provide technology assistance to students, faculty, and staff and resolve general troubleshooting issues with computing and telecommunications hardware/software.
  • Providing support for Albany State University events held on campus supported by Information Technology Services.
  • Perform other duties as required.
Required Qualifications

  • Current ASU Student
  • Business Information Systems or Computer Science Major Preferred
  • Good customer service orientation skills in general office administration and office organization.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, as well as familiarity with office practices.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced academic environment is essential
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Excellent listening and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong customer-service orientation.
  • Keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
